This week covered lots methods to teaching that I currently utilize. It gave me confidence in what I am doing. It also gave me ideas to improve what I am already doing. The idea that I am going to start implementing in my class is the use of a PDA to track student progress. This came from the article "If I teach this way, am I doing my job: Constructivism in the classroom." written by D. Sprague and C. Dede. I currently document major student items on a folder. I do not have a system for keeping track of daily progress. Overall I received a lot of confirmation that I am moving in the right direction as a teacher and a great idea that I will impliment very soon.
